Alissa Kelly knows a thing or two about hard work, dedication and doing what comes naturally. After six years in positions most people retire from at state government and utility outlets, Alissa left her comfortable, secure world for the craziness of the entertainment industry because "it just felt right."

As a native Las Vegan, Alissa began her career with PR Plus as an office manager, begging owner Laura Herlovich for the lack-luster position as she knew it would get her foot in the door and allow her an opportunity to learn the inner workings of the company. Laura admired her dedication and ambition and eventually agreed. Luckily, just two weeks after joining PR Plus, an account executive position opened and Alissa began a dual role - running the office and managing accounts including the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Gladys Knight and Billion Dollar Babes. Public relations came very naturally to Alissa and she quickly learned the ins and outs of the business, while building great relationships with both local and national media.

Throughout these years, Alissa continued to find time to take night and weekend classes at UNLV towards her B.S.B.A. in marketing. Although an education is important, Alissa found the real life experience outweighed the classroom education and happily worked full-time while attending classes for almost nine years, graduating in 2004 with experience far beyond others in her class and a position most classmates would need to work six years to acquire.
